Siri Skåre

Prior to joining NOREF, Siri Skåre was the director of the International Department of the Norwegian Centre for Human Rights at the University of Oslo for eight years, and the director of NORDEM (the Norwegian Resource Bank for Democracy and Human Rights) for seven years. She has also been an adviser at the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Norad, and worked for several years in the International Department of the Norwegian Ministry of the Environment. She has been an international elections observer for the past 25 years and has been head or deputy head of several OSCE ODIHR election observation missions. She holds a master’s in Political Science/International Relations from the University of Oslo. Siri is also a member of the Nordic Women Mediators-Norway.
