Helene Revhaug

Helene Revhaug heads the communication unit and as such oversees the Centre’s day to day communication work.  She is also in charge of building the centre’s competence on communication in mediation and peace processes. She has contributed communication support to e.g. the Philippines peace process (GRP-NDFP) and to the Civil Society Support Room in the intra-Syrian talks in Geneva. Prior to joining NOREF Helene worked eight years at the Norwegian Institute of International Affairs (NUPI) as i.a. Adviser, Communication Adviser and Head of the Training for Peace in Africa Programme. She holds a cand. mag. degree in International Cultural and Social Sciences from the University of Oslo and a candidate degree in Communication and Media Studies from Volda University College. Helene is also a member of the Nordic Women Mediators-Norway.
