Sophie Richter-Devroe

Sophie Richter-Devroe is a lecturer in gender and Middle East studies at the Institute of Arab and Islamic Studies at the University of Exeter, with a broad research interest in gender theory and women’s activism in the Middle East. She has published several articles on Palestinian women’s activism, analysing their different forms of political agency in peacebuilding, resistance and survival/coping mechanisms.
