Randi Solhjell
Randi Solhjell is a research fellow at the Norwegian Institute of International Affairs (NUPI) under the Department of Security and Conflict Management. She has written extensively on sexualized war and conflict violence in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) and the UN mission in the DRC. She has also undertaken several studies on the challenges to implementing UN Security Council Resolutions 1325 (2000) and 1820 (2008) in various contexts; internationally, nationally and locally. Solhjell is a PhD candidate at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), where she is currently based.
