NOREF’s work is divided between informal dialogue, so-called Track Two diplomacy and support to formal Norwegian or international mediation efforts - Track One. In addition NOREF develops and maintains thematic competence of relevance to both informal and formal mediation. A key characteristic of the Track Two work is the need for discretion.
