Vicenç Fisas

Vicenç Fisas  (Barcelona, 1952) is director of the School for a Culture of Peace at the Autonomous University of Barcelona. He holds a doctorate in Peace Studies from Bradford University and is the author of more than 30 books on peace, defence, disarmament and conflict alternatives, including Ceasefire: Handbook on Peace Processes (in English, Spanish and Turkish) and Procesos de paz y negociación en conflictos armados (Peace Processes and Negotiation in Armed Conflicts). He has edited the Yearbook on Peace Processes since 1996 and won the National Human Rights Award in 1988.
