Gunnar M. Sørbø

Gunnar M. Sørbø, PhD, is a senior researcher at and former director of the Chr. Michelsen Institute. An anthropologist by profession, he has researched and closely followed developments in Sudan and South Sudan for more than 40 years. His latest publication, co-edited with Abdel Ghaffar M. Ahmed, is Sudan Divided: Continued Conflict in a Contested State  (Palgrave Macmillan, 2013).
