Alejandro Bendaña

Alejandro Bendaña is the founder and senior research associate of the Centro de Estudios Internacionales in
Managua, Nicaragua. A former programme manager for the UNDP Rule of Law and Security Programme for Somalia,
he has worked on global justice and peacebuilding issues in a number of countries. He is a member of the board of
Focus on the Global South and a consultant on post-war reconstruction issues.
